Missisippi Mud Pie

Pagi ni I buat mud pie ni untuk bawak p ofis for breakfast dgn semua staff. Supposed hari ni our ofis organise jamuan raya for all vendors & customers tapi last minute kena cancel coz my boss ada hal. So, since kuih dah tempah kitorang pun buat makan sendiri2 je la.
Resepi ni boleh serve utk 12-14pax. Bahan2 diadjust ikut apa yang ada saja.

Bahan2:
A- For crust
140g digestive biscuits (i used biskut marie)
85g pecan nuts- finely chopped (i used almond bits)
1tbsp soft light brown sugar
1/2tsp ground cinnamon
85g butter, melted

Cara- cara:
  1. Preheat oven to 180deg. celcius. Grease springform tin.
  2. Put all ingredients except melted butter into food processor until fine crunch form, then add melted butter & process again until combined & moistened.
  3. Pat in the springform & chilled.

B: Filling

225g butter

175g plain plain choc- chopped

125ml golden syrup

4 large eggs beaten

85g pecan nuts finely chopped ( i used almond bits)

Cara- cara:

  1. Put choc, butter & golden syrup into saucepan over low fire. Stir until melted & blended, leave cool.
  2. Beat in eggs & pecan nuts
  3. Pour the fillings & smooth the surface. Bake for 30min.
